My name is Osman Numair, and I am from Fairfield, California. I joined Central Coast Allergy and Asthma in July of 2021. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of California, in Davis. I received my M.D. degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed my post-graduate training in Internal Medicine- Pediatrics (Med-Peds) at Louisiana State University- Shreveport.
After my residency training, I decided to complete my training in Allergy and Immunology also at Louisiana State University in- Shreveport. I currently hold board certification in Allergy and Immunology, as well as Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. I believe the unique training I received in Med-Peds was well suited for the field of Allergy and Immunology and has helped me along in my career. It has given me confidence in managing and treating a wide range of patients from young children to older adults.
I find the field of Allergy and Immunology the most fascinating and interesting in the world of medicine. Being an Allergist/immunologist is like being a detective, it challenges you, which I find very rewarding when treating my patients. My interest in the field includes treating patients with food allergies, moderate to severe asthma, drug allergies, and other allergic diseases. I am currently a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI)- American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) - American College of Physicians (ACP), and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
During my free time, my interests include traveling, sports, movies, video games, and music.
