Dr. Daniel More joined Central Coast Allergy & Asthma in 2006. He treats patients of all ages with allergies, asthma, immune problems, hives, eczema, chronic cough and food/drug/venom allergies.
Dr. More received his M.D. degree at the UCLA School of Medicine, and performed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He then underwent sub-specialty training in Allergy and Immunology, also at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Upon completion of training, Dr. More served as Chief of Allergy and Immunology at Luke AFB in Phoenix, Arizona, from 2003-2006. He attained the rank of Major in the United States Air Force before joining the Salinas Allergy Clinic in 2006.
Dr. More has published numerous scientific papers, with ground-breaking research performed in the areas of venom allergy, food and drug allergy, as well as writing articles in the fields of cardiology and infectious diseases. He has been recognized by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) for outstanding research published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Dr. More is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), and is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and AAAAI.
USA Today listed Dr. More, May 14,2009, as one of the most influential doctors in the treatment of asthma.
